Rare earth metal, also known as rare earth element, is a rare substance as the name suggests. It is the general name for 17 elements in the periodic table of elements, such as scandium, yttrium, and lanthanum series, and is often represented by R or RE. Its luster is between silver and iron, and it has strong chemical activity. China ranks first in proven rare earth reserves and controls about 98% of the world's rare earth market. The price of rare earths is slowly rising, and the world will need to get used to these materials becoming more expensive, especially as local Chinese industry begins to use more rare earths.
At present, rare earths in various countries are mainly imported. Import and export will face a long-distance transportation problem. Due to the particularity of the material, it must be transferred intact. So how is such a very precious material packaged and transported? Neiwei is currently involved in this case and proposes a solution of using a portable electric baler for packaging.
In fact, the packaging of this kind of rare earth metal is similar to the packaging of beer bottles. The main steps are: seal the rare earth metal in the barrel - place the pallet at the bottom - place the iron barrel neatly on the pallet - place the top plate on the upper layer - and then use plastic steel. The straps are bundled and tightly packed—finally, a portable baler is used for welding and packing.
The packaging effect is as shown in the figure:
